Quotes and pricing

We give you a price before we start and we do not start until you have agreed to it.

If we open something up and find the job is bigger than it looked, we stop and talk to you. You will never receive an invoice with a number on it you have not already agreed to.

Quotes are valid for 30 days. After that, prices of parts move and we may need to requote.

Our offers

The offers advertised on this site have their conditions written on the page next to them. Read those, they are short and in plain English.

One offer per job unless we agree to something different up front. Mention the promo code when you book, not after the invoice is issued.

We can withdraw or change an offer at any time, but never on a job already quoted and agreed.

Payment

Payment is due on completion unless we have agreed something else in writing beforehand.

For larger jobs we may ask for a deposit to cover materials. That is discussed and agreed at quoting, never sprung on you.

Warranty

Our workmanship is warranted on eligible work. If something we fixed plays up, ring us and we come back.

Parts and appliances carry the manufacturer's warranty. We will help you make a claim on one.

The warranty does not cover damage from misuse, from someone else working on what we installed, or from a separate fault elsewhere in the system.

Nothing here takes away rights you have under Australian Consumer Law. Those apply regardless of anything on this page.

Access and safety

We need safe access to the work area. If we cannot safely get to it, we will tell you what needs to change before we can proceed.

Please keep pets and children away from the work area and any open excavation.

Cancelling

Let us know as early as you can and there is no charge. If we have already travelled to site or ordered a part specifically for your job, we may charge for that.

Licensing

Genies Plumbing Pty Ltd, ABN 87 690 978 422, holds QBCC licence 15572303 and carries insurance. Ask to see either at any time.
